Acne Med 2.5%

Face Reality Advanced Acne Med 2.5% is a water-based benzoyl peroxide gel that works to unclog pores and fight acne-causing bacteria.

This new, advanced micronized formula of benzoyl peroxide (BPO) contains a smaller particle size to penetrate pores more efficiently with a smooth and consistent application. BPO works as a bleaching and peeling agent, is antimicrobial, increases cell turnover, reduces bacterial count, clears up existing acne, and prevents future breakouts. Added bisabolol and sodium hyaluronate soothe and hydrate the skin to minimize irritation and dryness.

Good for dry, sensitive skin types prone to inflamed and non inflamed acne, and acne rosacea.

Active Ingredients: Benzoyl Peroxide

Purified Water, Butylene Glycol, Carbomer, Caprylyl Glycol, Potassium Sorbate, Chlorxylenol, Sodium Hydroxide

Apply a thin layer to the entire blemish-prone area. Leave on for 15 to 30 minutes a day at first and increase wearing time gradually until medication can be tolerated all night. Slight irritation and dryness are normal and temporary.

Do not apply moisturizer over your Acne Med. This will interfere with the benzoyl peroxide. Using a water based gel, such as Face Reality Hydrabalance, is fine. If going outside, allow the Acne Med to dry, then follow up with SPF.
